A funeral service for Samantha Steadman, 17 of Newark will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday January 16, 2008 in the Newark Chapel of Vensil?Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Hissong officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Samantha died Thursday, January 10, 2008 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born November 24, 1991 in Washington. Samantha attended Northside Church of Christ and was active in the Youth Club. She attended Newark High School and enjoyed drama class. She was involved in Y.E.S. and enrolled in dance lessons at Dance Extreme. Samantha is survived by her caregivers, Troy and Zenaide Burden of Newark. Calling hours will be 12:00-2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 1850 West Main Street, Newark. Memorial contributions may be made to House of New Hope, 8135 Mt.
