Samantha "Sam" Lynn Horner, 46 of Dresden, Ohio died unexpectedly Friday, August 29, 2025.

Born November 10, 1978, in Paris, Tennessee, she was a daughter of Mary Jane (Morris) Horner and the late Ronald C. Horner. Sam was a 1997 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 89 in Paris Landing Tennessee. She enjoyed shooting pool with friends, watching Disney movies and cheering for the Tennessee Volunteers. What Sam loved the most was her family, especially her son, Garrett.

Surviving is her son, Garrett Lytton of Dresden, Ohio; mother, Mary Jane (Morris) Horner of Paris Tennessee; sister, Carla Horner of Frazeysburg, Ohio; honorary siblings, Britnee Sammons, Kelsa Woods, Tara Wise, and Daryl Dilly; great friends, Tim and Sharon Johnson and her feline companion, Topaz.

Sam is preceded in death by her father, Ron C. Horner.

A memorial service will take place at a later date.
