Ryan Huffman, 17, of Zanesville, died at12:06PM Tuesday May 23, 2006 at his home following a four month battle with cancer. Ryan was born June 26, 1988 in Zanesville, a son of Jeffrey and Julie (Carmichael) Huffman. He was a 2006 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and had participated in the graduation ceremony on Sunday May 21st. At Tri-Valley, he was member of the FFA and Ski Club. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing with his father and friends and motocross motorcycle riding with his friends. He was a member of the Glenn-Valley Corn Kickers 4-H and had attended the Pleasant Grove U. Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Clint Huffman, grandparents, Marge Huffman of Zanesville, Harry and Kay Carmichael of Zanesville, great grandmother, Ethel Wright of Coshocton, his girlfriend, ?Baby Gurl?, Danielle Edgerley, aunts and uncles, Jim and Linda Vernon of Dresden, Brad and Vickie Sharp of Dublin, David and Angel Huffman of Zanesville, Scott and Christine Carmichael of Zanesville, Patricia and Andy Murphy of White Cottage, Susan Farrell of Zanesville, Michele Carmichael of Crooksville, his cousins, Lori and Mark McNichols, Lisa and Ron Allender, Joshua Sharp, Bryce and Dallas Huffman, Tyler Harrison, Tony Farrell, Slade Carmichael, twins Paige and McKenzie Carmichael, Ethan and Alex McNichols,Ryann and Bailey Allender and his faithful dogs, Collier and Lady. He was preceded in death by a half brother, Jason Huffman, his grandfather, Glenn Huffman and an uncle, Jeff Carmichael. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8PM Friday May 26, 2006 at the Adamsville Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1PM at the Adamsville U.
