NEWARK ? A funeral service for Ruth N. McCullough, 88 of Newark will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2009 in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Gus Andrews officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Alexandria. Mrs. McCullough passed peacefully in her sleep Sunday morning, August 16, 2009 at Arlington Care Center. She was born April 16, 1921 in Alexandria to the late Casper and Oma (Lockwood) Dumbauld. Survivors include her sons, Jim (Kelly) McCullough of Heath, John (Dixie) McCullough of Nashport, and Bill (Stacie) McCullough of Bloomington, Ill.; grandchildren, Brooke (Tim) McKenna of Zanesville, Matthew (Julie) McCullough of Glenford, Shelly (Mark) Butler of Newark, Trevor (Amy) McCullough of Newark, Jarrod (Julie) McCullough of New Concord, Elena McCullough and Sarah McCullough, both of Bloomington, Ill.; a brother Ed (Mariel) Dumbauld of Wellsville; and twelve great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William McCullough in 1976; two brothers, Fred Dumbauld and Robert Dumbauld. Family and friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.
