DRESDEN – Ruth L. Hahn, 69, of Dresden, Ohio died Friday afternoon, September 9, 2011 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville, Ohio after a brief illness.
Born March 27, 1942 in Zanesville, Ohio she was the daughter of the late James E. and Marie (Eddy) Lucas and was a 1960 graduate of Zanesville High School. Mrs. Hahn was a homemaker and she also worked for many years at the Ohio Plastics Company in Frazeysburg. She was a member of the Dresden First Baptist Church, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Mystery Sisters of Dresden.
Surviving are two daughters, Kimberlin M. (Michael) Kullman and Tammy Hahn, both of Dresden; two grandchildren, Patience (Rick) Dailey of Zanesville and Kirby Kullman of Dresden; three great grandchildren Mekinna Davis, Hayleigh Davis and Addison Dailey; one brother, James (Jan) Lucas of Zanesville; one sister, Jean (Rick) Lucas Benjamin of Greenwood, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Hahn whom she married June 5, 1960 and who died August 2, 2008.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Monday, September 12, 2011 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at the funeral home with the Rev. Andrew Dennis officiating. Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery.
