Obituary
– Ruby R. Daugherty of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Thursday morning, August 23, 2012 at Flint Ridge Nursing Home in Newark, Ohio.
Born in Glendale Springs, North Carolina she was a daughter of the late Luther F. and Florence D. (Hodges) Woodie. Mrs. Daugherty was a former instructor at 3-B Beauty School in Newark. She was a member of the Frazeysburg Presbyterian Church and the Archeology Society of Ohio. She loved fishing, hunting arrow heads and flower gardening.
Surviving is her husband of 51 years, Curtis E. Daugherty whom she married June 3, 1961 and several nieces and nephews including James Woodie of Coshocton, Ohio, Kathy Terborg of Frazeysburg, Ann Landrey of Nashport, Ohio and Doris Gruesel of Pickerington, Ohio.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Bower and Donald Woodie and three sisters, Kathleen Stinson, Hazel Hayes and Ruth Woodie.
Calling hours will be from 11am to 1pm Friday, August 31, 2012 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 Third Street. Funeral services will be at 1pm at the funeral home with the Rev. Charles Warren officiating.
