FRAZEYSBURG ? Funeral services for Roy E. Dunn, 78, of Newark, Ohio, will be at 1:00pm Thursday, March 4, 2004 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with the Rev. William Cronk officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery. Mr. Dunn died at 7:40pm Sunday, February 29, 2004 at Genesis Morrison House Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer. Roy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, but most of all by those who had the honor and privilege to call him Husband, Dad, Brother and Papaw. Born September 11, 1925 in Dresden, Ohio, he was the son of the late George E. and Hazel F. (King) Dunn and was a 1943 graduate of Jefferson High School. Mr. Dunn was an Army veteran of World War II where he served as a paratrooper and cook. He retired from Rockwell International after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Marne United Methodist Church and the Modern Woodmen of American. He enjoyed fishing and bowling and was a former member of the Sunrise Senior Citizens Bowling League. Surviving is his devoted and loving wife, Mary E. (Wolfe) Dunn, whom he married September 21, 2002; one son, Jerry L. (Debi) Dunn Kunzelman of Stockbridge, Michigan; two daughters, Debra K. (Bert) Aldred of Zanesville and Deanne (Marc Crozier) Stickle of Marne, Ohio; two step sons, Daniel E. (Elizabeth) Kennedy of Cambridge, Ohio and Karl (Susan) Wolfe of Frazeysburg, Ohio; his sister and ?special angel?, Jennie Rasor of Zanesville; seven grandchildren; four step grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two wives, Louise M. (Stevens) Dunn on September 25, 1991 and Golda M. (Mills) Dunn of January 12, 2002; an infant son, Donald Roy Dunn; a granddaughter, Leigh Dawn Stickle; a son in-law, Mark Stickle and a brother in-law, Harold Rasor. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 Third Street, Frazeysburg.
