Roseann Butcher

Roseann Butcher, 60, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died, surrounded by her loving family, in the early hours of Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville, Ohio.

Born July 20, 1966, in Zanesville, she was a daughter of Ruth M. (Berry) Bollinger. Roseann was a 1984 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and Mid East. She was a lifetime member of Zanesville VFW Post 1058 and someone who never met a stranger. Roseann enjoyed spending time in her flowerbeds, spending time with her family and loved ones, and spending time with her “boys” Max and Mylo. She will be remembered as a loving wife and caring mother.

Roseann is survived by her adoring husband, Thomas “Tom” J. Butcher whom she married July 21, 1984; two loving daughters, Lindsey Butcher and Lisa Butcher, both of Frazeysburg; three brothers, Randy (Sandy) Bollinger, Bob (Cindy) Bollinger, and Rex (Melanie) Bollinger; three half-sisters, Joann Stemm, Sally Hittle, and Kathy Denton; a neighbor and friend, Irene (Ron) Bush and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Roseann is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Bollinger; a brother, Rick Bollinger and “father” Bill Riehl.

Friends and family may visit 2PM to 4PM and 6PM to 8PM on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil | Wagner | Marshall Funeral Homes, 110 West Third Street.

A loving Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Wells officiating.
