Obituary

Rose M. Hindel, 86, of Dresden, Ohio died Monday morning, August 26, 2013 at Willow Haven Nursing Home in Zanesville, Ohio.
Born March 18, 1927 in Dresden she was a daughter of the late Frank L. and Hazel L. (Brotherton) Hindel and was a 1945 graduate of Dresden Jefferson High School. Rose retired in 1985 from General Electric Company of Coshocton with 34 years of services. She attended Trinway United Methodist Church and she enjoyed scrapbooking, reading and was an avid sports fan.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews, Carolyn Hindel of Georgia, Bonnie (John) Lallathin of Atwater, Ohio, Karen Hindel of West Virginia, Jeff Hindel of Newark, Edward (Robin) Hindel of Munroe Falls, Ohio, Dwight Hindel of Kent, Ohio and James (Bobbi) Hindel of Tallmadge, Ohio; several great nieces and great nephews, Jaclyn and Kayla Hindel, Lindsay Hindel, Corey Hindel, Kerry Caslow, twins, Sheri Gatesman and Kelly Web, Channing Hindel, Jared Hindel, Rev. Scott Hindel, Eric Hindel, Jamie Hindel, Joseph Hindel, Brian Caslow and Christopher Park. Also surviving are several great great nieces and great great nephew and many close friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Betty Hindel; three brothers, Gerald Hindel, Jack Hindel and an infant brother, Eugene Hindel; two sisters in-law, Erma Hindel and Janet Hindel, a niece Patricia Hindel; two nephews, Robert Hindel and John Hindel and a great nephew, Bryan Hindel.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Thursday, August 29, 2013 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.
Funeral services will be at 10:00am Friday, August 30, 2013 at the funeral home with the Rev. Sharon Williamson and Rose's nephew, the Rev. Scott Hindel officiating. Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery.
