Funeral services for former Newark resident Rose Madeline Hall, 75 of St. Paris, Ohio will be Saturday December 3, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Les Crossfield officiating. Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery.Mrs. Hall had been residing with her family in St. Paris. She died Thursday December 1, 2005 at home. She was born July 30, 1930 in Wevaco, West Virginia to the late Harry and Ethel (Hudnall) Keeney.She attended Troy First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, quilter and Sunday School teacher.Survivors include her son, Brett (Sonya) Hall of St. Paris; grandchildren, Lisa Renae Hall & Kyle James Hall; sister, Ruth Sadler of W. Va.; brothers, Hewitt Keeney, Adrian (Lou) Keeney, Stacy (Pat) Keeney all of W. Va. and Paul (Shirley) Dunbar of Mich.; sisters-in-law, Patty Keeney and Lucille Keeney both of W. Va.; several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Wilburn Hall whom she married April 23, 1955 and died January 4, 1977; sisters, Thelma Cantley, Inez Brockell, Julia Moore, Cynthia Ream; brothers, Harry Keeney, Kenneth Keeney, Jack Keeney and Cledith ?Tookey?
