Rose Ann Cullins, 63, of 8725 Fulton Lane, Dresden, died at 5:00 AM Thursday February 2, 2006 at her residence following a very courageous battle with cancer. Born June 26, 1942 in White Cottage, Muskingum County, she was the daughter of Marion Donald and Sarah Francis Jenkins Brown. Rose was retired from the Dresden Post Office. She had been a mail carrier from 1986 to 2005. She is survived by her husband, Richard Cullins whom she married July 15, 1961; three sons, Rex Cullins of Whitehall, Ted Cullins of Zanesville, Derk (Brandi) Cullins of Dresden; one daughter, Kaci Cullins of Dresden; five grandchildren, Justin, Amber, Kristin, Kaitlyn and Abigail; three sisters, Donna Dement, Jennifer Brown and Janet Patterson all of Zanesville; two brothers, Larry Brown of Zanesville and Danny Brown of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Madison Cullins, who died December 25, 2001. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday February 5, 2006 at the Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street, Dresden with Jim Ross officiating. Burial will follow at the Muskingum Covenanter Cemetery near Dresden. By her request no calling hours will be observed.
