FRAZEYSBURG ? Ronald L. ?Larry? Moore, 69, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Saturday morning, January 17, 2009 at his home after a courage battle with cancer. Born November 8, 1939 in Caldwell, Ohio, he was the son of the late Ralph and Mary Edith (Gordon) Moore and was a retired custodian with Tri-Valley Schools working for 12 years in the Frazeysburg buildings. Prior to working at the school, he had worked for 28 years with Lothes & Lothes Drilling Company in the oil business. He enjoyed doing carpenter work and woodworking. Surviving is his wife of over 41 years, Linda K. (Moore) Moore whom he married May 27, 1967; one son, Randy (Cheryl) Moore of Howard, Ohio; one daughter, Melinda (Mark) Freeland of Frazeysburg; six grandchildren, Katie, Jordan, Ashley, Morgan, Mary and Justin; one brother, David (Sue) Moore of Zanesville; three sisters, Juanita (Jerry) Huntsman and Marlene (Dee) Harding, both of Zanesville and Norma Jean Taylor of Glenford, Ohio; several nieces and nephews and many special friends. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Monday, January 19, 2009 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street. Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the funeral home with the Rev. Jeff Belt officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
