Obituary

Ronald E. Cohagen, 77, of Dresden, Ohio passed away Sunday evening, February 10, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born March 24, 1935 in Zanesville, Ohio he was a son of the late Willis and Frances (Robison) Cohagen. He was a 1953 graduate of Frazeysburg High School and attended Marietta College. Ron retired from Owen-Corning after 38 years of service. He was Presbyterian by faith and he enjoyed attending church with his family. Ron loved being with his family and he enjoyed farming, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed working home shows for Federal Heating and Cooling where he was known as the "man in the cowboy hat".
Surviving is his wife of 58 years, Marlene (Williams) Cohagen whom he married June 15, 1955; his children Cathy Davis, Mike (Kathy) Cohagen, Linda Miller, Judy (Steve) Richards and Jenifer (David) Hawkins; a son in-law, Pokey Udder; a brother Roger (Thelma) Cohagen and a brother in-law, Warren (Jane) Williams of Elko, Nevada. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Heidi, Stephen, Abby, Sara, Amber, Samantha, Chelsea, Dylan, Aubrey, Marcus, Spencer and Savannah and his great grandchildren, Trey, Devan and Bailey.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Molly Udder; a son in-law, Mike Miller and a brother, Rich Cohagen.
Per Ron's request there will be no calling hours. His family will be having a private memorial services at a later date.
