Ronald N. Carpenter, 51, of Zanesville, Ohio died Tuesday evening December 31, 2013 at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville.
Born May 3, 1962 in Zanesville he was a son of Wayne N. Carpenter of Zanesville and the late Janice S. (Cartwright) Carpenter. Ronald was a 1982 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and the Muskingum Area Joint Vocational School and was a member of Dresden United Methodist Church. He was self-employed in the lead and asbestos abatement business and he was a former employee of Lepi Enterprises and the Sunrise Do-It Center. He enjoyed gardening and visiting and taking care of his friends and elderly neighbors.
Surviving in addition to his father are two brothers, Donald (Tammy) Carpenter and Mark (April) Carpenter, both of Zanesville; two sisters, Brenda Wheeler of Nashport, Ohio and Cheryl (Marlin Smith) Norman of Heath, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Friday, January 3, 2014 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.
Funeral services will be 11:30am Saturday, January 4, 2014 at the funeral home with the Rev. Greg Inboden officiating. Entombment will be in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
