A funeral service for Rodney Dean Clark, Sr., 44 of Newark will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday February 21, 2008 in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Rev. Robert L. Knox officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery. A luncheon reception will follow the committal service at the G.P.P.A.W. Union Hall, 350 Hudson Ave., Newark. Mr. Clark died Saturday February 16, 2008 at Mt. Carmel East Medical Center, Columbus. He was born September 6, 1963 in Newark to Richard S. Clark of Newark and the late Mary (Crawmer) Clark. Mr. Clark was an insulation installer for IBP in Hebron for several years. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, camping and hunting. In addition to his father, he is survived by four sons, Rodney Dean Clark, Jr. and fianc?, Nicolette Powell, Thomas Stokes (Heather) Clark, Seth Clark, and Kyle Clark, all of Newark; brothers, Rick Clark, Tim (Kim) Clark, both of Newark; sisters, Cathy (Nathan) Lilly, Connie Caito, Lisa (John) Bentley, Sheila (Randy) Church all of Newark; fianc?, Sue Wheeler and her daughters, Kendra Phelps, Mysti Phelps, and Brianna Wood, all of Newark; granddaughters, Cheyenne, Layla, and Morgan; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday February 20, 2008 at the funeral home, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.
