Roc W. Johnson, 51, of Nashport, Ohio died Friday afternoon, January 20, 2023 at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville, Ohio

Born April 30, 1971 in Zanesville he was a son of the late H. W. "Lucky" Johnson and Edith (Morris) Johnson of Nashport.  Roc was a 1991 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and he attended Mid-East Career and Technology Center of Zanesville.  He was employed as a security guard at Fanatics of Frazeysburg, Ohio.  Roc was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, and camping.  He loved spending time with his family and friends and watching his favorite team, the Cincinnati Bengals.

Surviving in addition to his mother, Edith Johnson, is his wife, Heather M. (Sode) Johnson whom he married November 9, 2002; two sons, Tyler Johnson of Nashport and Michael (Bailey) Sode of Zanesville; one daughter, Kendra Sode of Nashport; a brother, Larry (Sherry) McClary of Johnstown, Ohio and a sister, Toni Johnson of Gahanna, Ohio.  Also surviving are his long-time special friends, Shane Stotts and Shawn King, as well as his father in-law and mother in-law, Charles and Christine Sode of Zanesville and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, H. W. "Lucky" Johnson, he was preceded in death by a brother, John McClary and two sisters, Robin Richards and Jean (Warren) Bailey.

There will be no public calling hours or funeral services.

Private family graveside memorial services will be conducted at a later date at Irville Cemetery where Roc will be laid to rest with his father.
