A funeral service for Roberta Ann Dickover, 81 of Heath will be held Friday August 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Rev. Barbara Salyers officiating. Burial will be at Newark Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Dickover entered eternal life on Wednesday morning, July 27, 2022 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born May 7, 1941 in Newark to Guy A. and Emily A. (Whaley) Charlton.

Roberta retired as the Occupational Health Nurse at Kaiser Aluminum in 1999. She was a 1959 graduate of Newark High School.  In 1962 she graduated from the Mt. Carmel Hospital School of Nursing. She held several nursing positions in the Newark area during her career. Roberta enjoyed gardening, cooking and reading. She was involved in several community volunteering activities including "Hem of his Garment" and The Look Up Center. She was also an active member of the First United Methodist Church and participated in the Community Meals and New-Ark Emmaus programs.

Survivors include her children, Eric (Kim) Dickover, Jeffrey Dickover all of Heath, Nicki Winchester of Newark; grandchildren, Adam Dickover of Newark, Warren Evan "Mac" (Shannon) Dickover of Chesapeake, VA, Jacob Dickover of Pataskala; great-granddaughter, Gracie Autumn Dickover; sister, Norma Jean Martin of Arcadia, FL; nephew and nieces, David (Marilyn) Martin of Arcadia, FL, Laurie Martin of Cincinnati; her canine companion, Heidi.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren E. Dickover in 2010; son-in-law, Jon Winchester; brother-in-law, Don Martin; nephew, Don Martin.

A visitation will be observed Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 6p.m. to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the services on Friday at the funeral home, 1850 West Main Street, Newark.
