The family of Robert J. Podor, 55 of Newark will receive friends on Friday August 11, 2006 from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home 1850 West Main Street, Newark, Ohio.Mr. Podor died Saturday June 17, 2006 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born January 18, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan to John William Podor of Lincoln Park, MI. and the late Helen A. (Bodnar) Podor.Mr. Podor has been employed 29 years with State Farm Insurance where he was an underwriter for Commercial Lines Insurance. He received his undergraduate Business degree from Wayne State University and his MBA at Xavier University. He enjoyed outdoor activities including, skiing, hiking, bicycling, camping and golf.In addition to his father, he is survived by his brother William W. (Linda S.) Podor of Rochester Hills, MI.; nieces Audrey L. Podor of Rochester Hills, Jaclyn R. Podor of New York City; nephew, Matthew W.
