Robert L. Guy, 81 of Roseville died at 10:05 p.m. Tuesday, November 12, 2002 at Hospice of Genesis.Mr. Guy was born April 24, 1921 in Zanesville, a son of the late James Loy and Leah (Baughman) Guy. He was a member of St. Paul?s Lutheran Church, Roseville, a lifetime member of Perry County Agricultural Society, 60 year member of Rehoboth Central Grange, 30 years President of Clayton Twp. Memorial Association, member of John Tague Post, American Legion and B.P.O.E. #509, in New Lexington, Mr. Guy was a lifelong farmer. He had operated Guy Implement in Somerset and retired after 30 years of service from the State of Ohio, Division of Forestry. Mr. Guy served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Marie (Birkimer) Guy, whom he married March 23, 1940; daughter and son-in-law, Judith and Gerald Loll of Gaylord, Mich.; two grandchildren, Shelia (Charles) Steeno of Tucson, Ariz. and Gordon Loll of Ann Arbor, Mich.; three great grandchildren, Christopher, Elizabeth and Gerald Steeno; brother-in-law, David (Sally) Birkimer of Crooksville; niece, Susanna (David) Chute of Newark; nephew, Bob (Debra) Birkimer of Crooksville; two great nieces and three great nephews.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 16, 2002 at St. Paul?s Lutheran Church, 104 N. Main St. Roseville with Pastor Albert Laese officiating. Burial will follow in Roseville Cemetery.Calling hours will be observed Friday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Roberts Funeral Home 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Genesis 713 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio, or to St. Paul?s Lutheran Church 104 N.
