Robert L. Fout, 71, of Frazeysburg, died at 2:33PM Friday April 11, 2003 in the ICU at Licking Memorial Hospital. Mr. Fout was born September 5, 1931 in Jackson County, Ohio, a son of the late Walter R. and Gladys L. (Hoover) Fout. A U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict, he served throughout the cold war at the Newark Air Force Base in missile technology, retiring in 1988. Mr. Fout had also worked in Saudi Arabia for British Aerospace. He was Methodist by faith. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Betty L. (Travis) Fout, whom he married January 28, 1950; two sons, Ron Fout (Sherrie McNemar), Brian (Susan) Fout both of Frazeysburg; two daughters, Cheryl (Robert) Jackson of Newark, Bobbie (Frank) Bateman of Columbus; 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Lou Miller of Jackson. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Fout in 1953 and two brothers, Heber and Emil Fout. Friends may call 2-4 & 7-9PM Sunday April 13, 2003 a the Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home in Frazeysburg, where services will be held on Monday at 11AM with Rev. Carl Schaefer officiating. Burial will follow in the Frazeysburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc.; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
