Robert "Bob" D. Lupher, Jr., 68, of Dresden, Ohio died Saturday night, May 13, 2023 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio.

Born February 22, 1955 in Newark, Ohio, he was a son of the late Robert D. and Carol A. (Sarchet) Lupher, Sr. and a 1973 graduate of Tri-Valley High School. Bob was a Baptist by faith and worked as a water well driller with his father for Lupher Drilling. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and mushroom hunting. Bob enjoyed watching sports, especially dirt track stock car racing and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving is his loving partner, Sue Hindel-Mahon of Dresden; two daughters, Kaycie Lupher and Kelcie Lupher both of Newark; a grandson, Acesyn K. Steele; a sister, Mary (Jerry) Farmer of Zanesville; two brothers, Wesley "Bud" (Marsha) Lupher of Nashport and Wayne (Chris) Lupher of Newark; a special friend, Ron Lowrey and several nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert D. Lupher, Sr. and Carol A. (Sarchet) Lupher.

Friends and family may call from NOON to 2pm Thursday May 18, 2023 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.

A graveside service will be held immediately following calling Thursday May 18, 2023 at Frazeysburg Cemetery with Pastor Bob Adelsperger officiating.
