Ricky L. Hutchinson, 61, of Heath, Ohio died Thursday evening, September 8, 2016 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center of Hospice of Central Ohio in Newark.
Born June 9, 1955 in Newark, Ohio he was a son of the late Lowell Perry and Betty Lou (Copeland) Hutchinson and was a 1973 graduate of Licking Valley High School. Mr. Hutchinson was retired from the United States Navy where he proudly served our country for 26 years. He loved playing basketball, was an avid outdoorsman and a huge Ohio State Buckeye fan. His greatest love and enjoyment was being with his family.
Surviving is his wife, Juanita (Rodriguez) Hutchinson whom he married May 21, 1975; five sons, Christopher (Christina) Hutchinson and Jeffrey Hutchinson, both of San Antonio, Texas, Gregory Hutchinson, Joseph Hutchinson and Joshua Hutchinson, all of Heath; one daughter, Jennifer (Jon) Mann of Corinth, New York and four grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Paige, Derek and Jeremiah. Also surviving are two brothers, Timothy A. Hutchinson of Columbus, Ohio and Randall P. Hutchinson of Frazeysburg.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia Louise Yutzy.
Calling hours will be 5pm to 8pm Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Perryton Cemetery.
