FRAZEYSBURG ? The Rev. Dr. Richard A. Olsson, 75, of Bellaire, Ohio, formerly of Nashport, Ohio died Friday evening, April 9, 2005 at the Heartland-Lansing Nursing Home in Bridgeport, Ohio. Born August 1, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of the late Arthur H. and Ingeborg A. (Olson) Olsson and he was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the Army Air Corp. Dr. Olsson was a retired Presbyterian Minister having served the Frazeysburg Presbyterian Church and the Muskingum Presbyterian Church. After his retirement he served as interim Pastor at several churches. For several years he wrote a column, ?The Lectern?, in the Zanesville Times Recorder. He enjoyed music, especially playing the piano. Surviving is his wife, Del Rhea M. Olsson of Bellaire; one son, John (Patti) Olsson of New Philadelphia, Ohio; two daughters, Ebba (Leon) Lauer of Nashport and Sara (Paul) Lloyd of Longmont, Colorado; four grandchildren, Ian and Kiel Lauer, Alexander Olsson and Jenna Lloyd; one sister, Marie (Allan) Dahlgren of Palm Harbor, Florida; one brother, David Olsson of Nashport; and two step-children, Glenna Conaway and Kimberly Earnest. Calling hours will be 6 to 9pm Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street, Frazeysburg. Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday, April 14, 2005 at the Frazeysburg Presbyterian Church, 10905 West Carlisle Road, Frazeysburg, with Dr. James A. Schumacher and Mr. Harold Garber officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
