Obituary
Richard E. Lent, Sr., 61, of Dresden, died at 6:35PM Wednesday June 23, 2010 at the Arlington Care Center in Newark.
He was born October 16, 1948 in Muskingum County, a son of the late Orville E. and Beulah (Lovall) Lent. A life long truck driver, he had worked for several area trucking companies and recently retired due to health from the Gorsky Trucking Company in Zanesville.
Surviving are his children, Melissa (Bryan) Reynolds of Frazeysburg, Melanie Dickerson of Warsaw, Richard E. â??Beanieâ? (Mandy) Lent, Jr., of Dresden, Misti (Joshua) Hutchinson of Newark; 12 grandchildren, brother, Harvey T. Lent of Zanesville; sister, Sheila Nichols of Austin, TX; half brother, Mickey Lovall of Salina, KS; two very special friends, Frank and Cathie Gorsky of Zanesville and his life time friend, Marilyn Smith of Newark and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8PM Friday June 25, 2010 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held at 1PM Saturday. Burial will follow in Memorial Park, Zanesville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family, P.O. Box 101, Dresden, OH 43821.
