Richard Rex Biller

Richard Rex Biller, 87, of Zanesville, died Monday morning June 29, 2026, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio.

Born December 7, 1938, in Frazeysburg, Ohio, he was a son of the late Orville B. and Bonnie (Powell) Biller and a 1957 graduate of Frazeysburg High School. Richard was Baptist by faith and served as Frazeysburg Marshall for over 10 years. The majority of his career was with the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Department and Common Pleas court. Richard enjoyed traveling, especially cruises, with his wife and maintaining their country property, where he especially loved mowing.

Surviving is his loving wife of 65 years, Phyllis M. (Powell) Biller whom he married August 12, 1960; a son, Bradley Curtis (Connie) Biller, of Heath, Ohio, and his former wife, Jennifer; two grandchildren, Ryan Curtis Biller of Columbus and Kelsey Lynn Biller-Young (Michael Young) of Cincinnati.

Following Richard’s wishes, there will be no public services.
