FRAZEYSBURG ? Rhoda E. Reed, 72, of Frazeysburg, Ohio, died at 8:55am Saturday, February 7, 2004, at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville, Ohio. Born April 22, 1931 in Frazeysburg, she was the daughter of the late Thomas C. Fleming, Sr. and Rhoda M. (Lecky) Fleming and was a graduate of Frazeysburg High School. Mrs. Reed was retired from the food service department of Bethesda Hospital and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Heath. Surviving is one daughter, Kathy Carson of Newark, Ohio; two sons, Tom (Judy Tyson) Reed of Zanesville and Jody (Rita) Reed of Trinway, Ohio; four brothers, Dwight (Betty) Fleming of Midland, Texas, Carl (Mary) Fleming and Don (Pat) Fleming, both of Zanesville, and James (Bev) Fleming of Marne, Ohio; two sisters, Norma Fleming, and Clara Morin, both of Frazeysburg; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, five brothers, Charles, William, Asa, Walter and Thomas Fleming, Jr. preceded her in death. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Monday, February 9, 2004 at Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 Third Street, Frazeysburg. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at the funeral home with Pastor Wally McLaughlin officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
