A funeral service for Rex Allen Jones, 37, of Newark will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, June 18, 2003 at the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas V. Beeman officiating. Burial will follow in Newark Memorial Gardens. Mr. Jones died Sunday June 15, 2003 at his residence. He was born September 9, 1965 in Newark, Ohio. He was employed by FibreTech of Heath, attended Cedar Hill Baptist Church and loved fishing. Mr. Jones is survived by his mother Joyce Mason-Trace of Newark, and his father Ronald E. Jones of Zanesville; maternal grandmother Patricia Mason of Newark; brothers and sisters: Brian Camp of Port St. Lucie, FL., Barbara K. (Charles) Battles of Newark, JoEllen Moore of Newark, Kimberly K. (Richard) Hoover of Newark, JoAnn (Denver) West of Newark, Kristina M. Zipperer of Newark, Ronald Jones, Donna Jones and Diane Jones, all of Zanesville; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Calling hours will be held two hours prior to the service, from 11:00AM-1:00PM on Wednesday June 18, 2003 at the Vensil ?Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 1850 West Main Street, Newark.
