A funeral service for Randall C. ?Randy? Massey age 50, of Newark will be held Friday June 16, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Homes.Mr. Massey died Monday June 12, 2006 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born February 17, 1956 in Bellaire, Ohio to Robert and Peggy (Weekley) Massey of Alexandria.In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Pamela (Parker) Massey, whom he married April 22, 1990; step-children, Jesse (Kim) Grubb and Heather (Dan) Pearson all of Irwin, Pa.; sisters, Rita (Claude) Myer of Stuart, FL., Rhonda (David) Pettit of Plain City, Renee Starkey of Davie, FL., Myrna Massey of Springdale, Utah; mother and father in-law, Golie & Janie Parker of Berlin Heights; grandson, Tyler Grubb; niece, Denise Hunter of Columbus; special cousin, David Nevil; and extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers and sisters in law, friends, neighbors and his beloved dog, Tucker.Randy was a member of the Salem Baptist Church. He was employed for many years in the family business, Woodmasters in Alexandria. He was a great outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting and camping.Calling hours will be observed Thursday 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home 1850 West Main Street.Memorial contributions may be made to the Randall C.
