FRAZEYSBURG ? Ralph S. Robison, Jr., 83, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died at 6:24pm Thursday, November 30, 2006 in the emergency room of Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville, Ohio. Born April 17, 1923 in Dresden, Ohio, he was the son of the late Ralph S. Robison, Sr. and Susan B. (McGinnis) Robison and was a 1942 graduate of Frazeysburg High School. Mr. Robison was a Marine veteran having served during World War II and was a member of the Ohio National Guard for many years. He retired in 1988 after 24 years of service as a body shop mechanic with White Chevrolet of Zanesville. He was a member of the Frazeysburg Presbyterian Church, a life member of Wakatomika VFW Post 6193, the Frazeysburg Veterans Club and the Frazeysburg Lions Club. Surviving is his wife, Lois A. (McFarland) Robison, whom he married July 25, 1948; two sons, Richard L. (Carolyn) Robison of Dresden and Randy J. (Laura) Robison of Arlington, Ohio; one daughter, Ronda K. Robison of Frazeysburg; two brothers, John W. (Mary Jane) Robison of Newark, Ohio and Charles (Lila Lee) Robison of Frazeysburg; one sister, Clarebelle (Kenneth) Martin of Dresden; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Ranee Robison; a brother, Herbert Robison and four sisters, Jean Waggoner, Ethel Newcome, Betty Corder and Blanche Robison. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Sunday, December 3, 2006 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Monday, December 4, 2006 at the funeral home with Dr. James Schumacher and the Rev. Jeff Belt officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
