R. Pearl Ludinich, 96, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Thursday morning, October 19, 2017 at Arlington Nursing Home in Newark, Ohio.
Born December 29, 1920 in Barnes Run, West Virginia she was a daughter of the late George Coleman and Alma Estella (Smith) Connolly and was a 1939 graduate of Frazeysburg High School. Mrs. Ludinich was a homemaker and a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Dresden, St. Ann Catholic Women's Association and the Fifty Club of Frazeysburg. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, canning and freezing the produce from her garden and supporting and providing for her loving family.
Surviving are two sons, David (Alicia) Ludinich and Stephen (Robin) Ludinich, both of Frazeysburg; a daughter, Diane A. Wilson of Houston, Texas; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of nearly 64 years, John Ludinich, whom she married December 10, 1942 and who died August 15, 2006; two daughters, Alma Diane Ludinich and Lisa Thornton and three sisters, Jean Mox, Dorothy Penn and Margarite Hardesty.
Calling hours will be 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm Monday, October 23, 2017 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 405 Chestnut Street, Dresden, Ohio with the Rev. Father Donald Franks celebrating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
The Ludinich family wants to give a very special thanks to the staff of Arlington Nursing Home for the wonderful care and support that was given to Pearl over the years. It is so deeply appreciated.
