A funeral for Phyllis Kathryn Evans 72, of Heath will be held Tuesday April 4, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Church of God, God?s Acres 675 N. Cedar Street with Pastor Roger L. Decker officiating. Burial will follow in Coshocton County Memory Gardens. Mrs. Evans died Thursday, March 30, 2006 at her residence. She was born March 30, 1934 in Newark, Ohio to the late Rev. Ned P. and Alma (Wolverton) Ellis.Survivors include sons; Jonathan D. Evans, Heath, Ned (Tracey) Evans of Lancaster, Felix (Judy) Evans of Junction City; daughters, Francie (Jason) Beaulieu of East Hartford, Ct., Felicia (Eric) Washek of Lancaster; eight grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Evans owned and operated Phyllis?s Book & Gift Store, a Christian bookstore, for 25 years in New Lexington, Heath and Newark until 2001. She was co-owner of Rainbow Christian Discount Store until 2004.She was a member of Church of God, God?s Acres. She served the Coshocton Church of God as Song Director, former Youth Choir Director at Black Run Church of God and New Lexington Church of God and former Adult Choir Director at Lancaster Church of God, ?Joy Acres?.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis E. ?Frank? Evans, August 9, 2004; daughter, Rosalyn; step-sister, Dorothy Sandbrink; great-granddaughter, Georgia Standiford.Calling hours will be observed Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Church of God, God?s Acres 675 N.
