Phyllis J. Boley, 79, of Newark, Ohio died Sunday morning, October 3, 2021 at the home of her daughter.

Born May 12, 1942 in Newark she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Pearl (Forte) Toomey and was a 1960 graduate of Newark Catholic High School.  Mrs. Boley was a homemaker and she enjoyed bowling, golfing and BINGO.

Surviving is one daughter, Colleen Cannon of Newark; one son, Allen Boley of Newark; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by loving husband of nearly 60 years, Wayne E. Boley whom she married September 10, 1960 and who died March 27, 2020 and a brother, Richard Toomey.

There will be no public calling hours.

Family graveside services will be 11:00am Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Rocky Fork Cemetery.
