Peggy Drewniak, 82, of Dresden, Ohio died Friday afternoon, February 14, 2014 at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville, Ohio.
Born July 4, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Sophie (Kroboth) Longaberger and was a graduate of John Adams High School in Cleveland. Mrs. Drewniak was a homemaker and was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Dresden Village Association.
Surviving are two sons, Rudy (Gayle) Drewniak of Chagrin Falls, Ohio and Todd Drewniak of Philo, Ohio; six grandchildren, Alaina (Dan) Dougherty, Amanda Alton, Alyssa Drewniak, Katie (Toby) Ashley, Dana Drewniak and Riley Drewniak and one great grandchild, Francesca Dougherty.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur E. Drewniak whom she married June 28, 1958 and who died January 18, 1999 and a grandson, Zachary Drewniak.
There will be no calling hours.
Private funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm Monday, February 17, 2014 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Inboden officiating. Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery.
