Pauline M. King, 89, of Dresden, died Saturday October 4, 2003 at the Adams Lane Care Center. Mrs. King was born August 6, 1914 in Madison Township, a daughter of the late Ernest and Freda (Graves) Lynn. A life long resident of Dresden, she was a member of the Dresden United Methodist Church and a 47 year member and past president of American Legion Post #399 Auxiliary. Surviving are her children, Lawrence (Gene) (Betty) King, of Crimora, Virg. , Donna Freshwater and Kathleen (Kay) (Harold) Hall of Dresden; her brother, James (Dorothy) Lynn of Dresden, her sister, Erma Meredith of Dresden, sisters in law, Virginia King of Coshocton, Elsie Lynn of Zanesville; 14 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 15 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Donald King on September 29, 1989, two bothers, Charles Lynn and Floyd Lynn and one granddaughter. Friends may call 2-4PM & 7-9PM Monday October 6, 2003 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1PM Tuesday with Pastor Ricci Arthur officiating. Burial will follow in the Dresden Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Auxiliary or the Dresden U. Methodist Church; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
