IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paul Eugene
Williams
January 20, 1938 – May 25, 2023
Paul (Abe) Eugene Williams, 85, of Dresden, gracefully departed this world on Thursday morning, May 25, 2023, at Willow Haven Care Center in Zanesville. Born on January 20, 1938, in Zanesville, he was the beloved son of the late Lester and Alice Williams, leaving behind a profound legacy of warmth and kindness.
Paul dedicated his working years to General Electric in Coshocton, where he labored diligently before embracing a well-deserved retirement. His commitment and unwavering work ethic served as an inspiration to all who knew him, leaving an enduring impact on the lives he touched.
With his love for adventure, Paul found immense joy in traveling on cherished family vacations to Tennessee and the beach, etching each trip with unforgettable moments and laughter. These excursions became the foundation of lifelong memories of togetherness, embodying his devotion to family.
An avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Paul and his son Mike shared in the exhilaration of witnessing their beloved team play in the Rose Bowl in California in 1997, a cherished memory held close to their hearts.
Yet, beyond all his accomplishments, Paul's most cherished roles were as an extraordinary husband, a devoted father, a loving grandfather, and an adored "Papy." For 56 years, he nurtured an unbreakable bond with his cherished wife, Carol Faye (Cullins) Williams, whom he married on October 8, 1966.
Paul's boundless love radiated upon his three children; Cynthia, Lisa, and Paul Michael (Becky), providing unwavering support throughout their lives. His heart overflowed with affection for his granddaughter, Caitlin (Adam) Reiss, and his two great-grandsons, Luke and Baylor Reiss, who brought immeasurable joy to his life.
Paul's memory is forever intertwined with that of his very special grandson, Jared Michael Williams, who preceded him in death but whose spirit will forever be cherished.
