Paul L. Williams, 69, of Newark, Ohio died Tuesday morning, June 17, 2014 at his home.
Born January 13, 1945 in Newark he was a son of the late Charles and Blanche (Rector) Williams. Mr. Williams retired in 2000 from Owens-Corning Fiberglas of Newark. He enjoyed living in the country, watching and feeding the animals and birds.
Surviving is his wife of nearly 50 years, Sandra K. (Simpson) Williams whom he married July 25, 1964; three daughters, Lisa Williams of Frazeysburg, Billie (Joe) Browett of Newark and Paula (Jeremy) Shriner of Nashport, Ohio; six grandchildren, Gage Shriner, Kaylee Shriner, Hunter Browett, Katie Browett, Stephanie Frye and Kendra Frye; one great grandchild, Preston Burchard; two brothers, Russell (Ruth) Williams and Clarence (Mary Ann) Williams, both of New Mexico; two sisters, Margie (Ed) Greenwald of Newark and Pat Gould of Vanatta, Ohio.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Williams and a sister, Georgia Williams.
Calling hours will be from 11am to 1pm Friday, June 20, 2014 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Following callings hours, Mr. Williams will be buried in Smith Chapel Cemetery, near Reform, Ohio.
