Paul J. Dobson, 78, of Dresden, died at 7:26AM Monday September 2, 2002 at his home. Mr. Dobson was born March 25, 1924 in West Bedford, a son of the late William C. and Daisy Jane (Dillon) Dobson. An Army veteran of WWII, he was a member of American Legion Post #399 in Dresden and VFW Post #1330 in Coshocton. He was a retired United Mine Worker and had worked at Broken Arrow and Simco mines. Following his retirement, he had worked at Gene Cox & Sons and R.F. Scurlock Company. He was Methodist by faith and a member of the Good Samaritan Camping Club, Seneca Chapter. Surviving are his daughter, Marge Williams of Dresden; granddaughter, Wendy (Rich) Priest of Dresden, grandson,Eric (Karrie) Williams, and three great grandchildren, Tanner Williams, Noah Williams, Devyn Ianniello; one sister, Ethel McCoy of Coshocton, two brothers, William C. (Jean) Dobson of West Bedford, Raymond Dobson of Trinway, and a sister in law, Mina Dobson of Cambridge. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria K. ?Whiss? (Mitchell) Dobson, whom he married October 2, 1948, on February 14, 2001; his son, Paul R. (Rick) Dobson in 1969; and a brother Don Dobson.
