A memorial service for Patricia M. Riley, 76 of Newark will be held at a later date. Pat passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born August 11, 1945 in Chicago, IL to James R. and Lucille (Shelton) Ryan.

Pat spent a number of years as the coordinator at The Granville Inn. She also was employed by Fashion Bug, Advertiser and Columbus Distributing. She was a member of Newark Moose Lodge # 499 and a member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church. She enjoyed movies, James Patterson was her favorite author and her favorite song was "Georgia on my Mind." She especially loved spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Robert Riley; children, Lisa Rawson, Bill Rawson (Jackie Warner) all of Newark; grandchildren, Maddie Jeter of Newark, Jaden Sines of Newark, Felicia Ritter of Texas, Channell (Steve) Ables of Newark, Olivia Rawson, Nicholas Davis, Dominick Eismon; great-grandchildren, Caycee Ritter, Ava Ritter, Peyton Hendershot, Scarlet Ables, Aubrey Ables; sister, Marsha Wright of Mesa, AZ; nieces, Jamie (Mike) Angellotti of Antioch, IL, Faith Wright of Seoul, South Korea; great nephew, Michael Angellotti; best friend, Cindy Veatch.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Jim, Tim and John Ryan.
