Funeral services for Patricia K. ?Patty? Green, 54 of Newark will be held Friday January 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Paul Snoddy officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Mrs. Green died Monday January 19, 2009 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center operated by Hospice of Central Ohio. She was born January 5, 1955 in Fostoria, Ohio. Survivors include her mother, Sherri (Houghton) Haag of Newark; her husband of 34 years, Randall A. ?Randy? Green whom she married September 14, 1974; daughter, Kara Green of Newark; son, Lance (Susie) Green of Liberty Twp., Oh.; grandchildren, Kaysha Lynn Byrd, Kylie Ann Green, L.J. Green; sister, Carol (Tom) Gordon of Granville; brothers, Jim (Linda) Eastman of Newark, Robert Eastman of Blacklick, Oh.; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold T. Eastman and a brother Tom Eastman. Patty was employed as a secretary receptionist at The Woodlands. She was a Longaberger consultant and had provided child care in her home for several years. She was a member of the Tri-Village Christian Church, Pataskala. She was a 1973 graduate of Newark High School. She had served as a president of the Roosevelt Boosters. She enjoyed bowling in her bowling league and volunteered for several organizations including Patty Dance Center, Miss Central Ohio Scholarship Pageant, North Newark Little League and Special Olympics. Calling hours will be observed Thursday January 22, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home 1850 West Main Street.
