Patricia J. Nethers, 62, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Tuesday evening, March 17, 2015 at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville, Ohio.
Born November 8, 1952 in Zanesville she was a daughter of the late Harold L. and Stella D. (Hall) Ayers and was a 1970 graduate of Tri-Valley High School. She was a homemaker and a former employee of the Ohio Plastics Company. She was a very active member of the Meadow View Church of Christ in Frazeysburg and was in charge of organizing the many meals the church has provided after funerals. Along with cooking, she also enjoyed doing crafts and making floral arrangements, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Surviving are two sons, Shawn (Stephanie) Nethers of Zanesville and Alex Nethers of Frazeysburg; three grandchildren, Abigail Nethers, Kadyn Nethers and Kane Nethers; three sisters, Norma Lupher and Dianne (Bill) Huston, both of Warsaw, Ohio and Ruth (Bill) Harper of Frazeysburg; a brother, Chauncey (Brenda) Ayers of Chesapeake, Virginia; several nieces and nephews and her loving dog, "Bosco".
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George F. Nethers, whom she married July 22, 1972 and who died April 22, 2001.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Friday, March 20, 2015 at the Meadow View Church of Christ, 6750 Raiders Road, Frazeysburg.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Meadow View Church of Christ with Minister Sam Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
