A graveside service celebrating the life of Patricia Sue Miller, 82 of Newark will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Kirkersville Cemetery with Will Spencer officiating.

Pat passed peacefully July 6, 2025 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center surrounded by her loving family.  She was born March 2, 1943 in Granville, OH  to the late Raymond Leo and Betty Jane (Weekley) Wills and was lovingly raised, alongside her sister Beverly by her grandparents, Ora and Florence Weekley after the death of her mother.

She attended Granville Schools where she was a cheerleader and member of the 4-H band.  Later she went on to enjoy a life on the farm with her family.

Pat was a doting grandma to her grandchildren, taking them on many adventures.  Some of their favorite times together were spent getting ice cream, going to the beach and numerous trips to Amish Country.

Pat's pastimes included reading avidly, flower gardening, watching Judge Judy and visiting lighthouses.

Survivors include her children, Susan (Denny) Lane of Newark, Charles D. "Chip" Miller of Heath; grandchildren, Kelsey (Will) Spencer of Gahanna and Mitchell Lane of Newark; and a sister, Beverly (Bob) Dacey of Westbrook, ME; her grand- dogs, Spike and Moxie; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents and grandparents, Pat was preceded in death by her beloved companion, John Charles "Chuck" Schilling.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Licking Memorial Hospital and Hospice of Central Ohio and special friend, Connie Riggle for providing comfort and care to Pat in her final days.
