Our beloved Patricia "Patty" Mabry, 77, of Hebron, Ohio passed away on January 2, 2025 after two and a half years battling ovarian cancer. Patty was born February 16, 1947 to Charles and Ethel Murray and was known for her warmth, kindness, and generosity.

Patty was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and a beautiful person who would help anyone. Her radiant smile lit up any room she entered and she had an impact on each person she interacted with. To those who knew her, she was the model of courage, selflessness and fun.

Patty is survived by her devoted husband, Bob Mabry; two loving daughters, Sherri (Pete) Gordon and Susan (Pete) Lipnick; four amazing grandchildren, including Rachel Gordon, Blake Gordon, Mackenzie Lipnick and Ryan Lipnick; and beloved siblings, Charles Murray, Ethel (Jim) Rhodes, and Nancy (Tom) Ulrich. Patty also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and countless close friends.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Patrick Murray.

Visitation with the family will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Vensil & Chute Funeral Home | Newark, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark, Ohio.

The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Lutheran Reformed Cemetery, Thornville, Ohio.
