Pamela J. Phalen, 60, formerly of Coshocton, died at 1:15AM Thursday September 16, 2010 at Oak Pointe Nursing Center in Baltic following an illness of eleven years.
Miss Phalen was born February 27, 1950 in Ft. Scott, Kansas. She was a 1972 graduate of The Ohio State University and that year she began her 27 year career teaching third grade at Plainfield Elementary School. She was a member of the Adamsville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her parents, Norman and Mary Louise Phalen of Norwich; brothers and sister, Sherry Keller of Weatherford, TX, David (Debra) Phalen of Plainfield, IN, Kim (Tammy) Phalen of Zanesville; a niece, Wendy (Darin) Fields; nephews, Matthew Anderson, Scott (Cindy) Phalen, Joseph Phalen.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Charles Phalen, Mr. & Mrs. Ernest Umphenour and two nephews, Michael Phalen and Joshua Phalen.
Friends may call 12PM until a 1PM funeral service Saturday September 18, 2010 at the Adamsville United Methodist Church with Pastor Tom Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
