FRAZEYSBURG ? P. Robert ?Jay? Boysel, 80, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Monday afternoon, July 27, 2009 at the Zelma Markowitz Care Center operated Hospice of Central Ohio. Born September 19, 1928 in London, Ohio, he was the son of the late Pearl and Hazel (Cook) Boysel. Mr. Boysel retired in 1986 as a foreman with Westinghouse Corporation. He was a member of the Frazeysburg Community Bible Church and he enjoyed many outdoor activities including hunting, camping and hiking. He was also a very avid ?Ohio State Buckeyes? fan. Surviving is his wife, Florence (Sharrock) Boysel, whom he married February 6, 1976;three sons, Mark (Mary) Boysel of Rochester, New York, Dan (Kerry) Boysel of Delaware, Ohio and Tim (Veronica) Boysel of Hilliard, Ohio; two daughters, Cristie (Butch) Ginther of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Mandy (Billy) Patterson of New Eagle, Pennsylvania; fourteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters and several nieces and nephews, including a special niece Mary (Clay) Curtis of New Concord, Ohio and a special nephew, Larry (Linda) Cronkleton of Noblesville, Indiana. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sons, Tom, Danny and David Wick; four brothers and four sisters. Calling hours will be one hour prior to the funeral service, which will be 11:00am Thursday, July 30, 2009 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with the Rev. Louis Isch officiating. Burial will be in Zanesfield Cemetery, Zanesfield, Ohio.
