Olive (Dingess) Adkins, 85, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Sunday evening, May 21, 2023 at her home.

Born June 21, 1937 in Stiltner, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late William and Nannie Mae (Crum) Dingess.  Olive was a Baptist by faith and a member of the Community Bible Church.  She was an excellent homemaker and enjoyed sewing, quilting, baking, and any type of craft but what she loved most was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are six daughters, Kennetha Adkins of Frazeysburg, OH, Robin Siddle of Dresden, OH, Deana (Damon) Elizondo of Westerville, OH, Theresa (Gary) White and Lisa Payne both of Frazeysburg, OH and Angela Napier of Genoa, W.V.; son, Lyndon Ray Adkins of Frazeysburg, OH; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; five sisters, Sarah Matthews of Dunlow W.V., Delsie Casto of Canal Winchester, OH, Gladys (Bobby) Napier of Burbank, OH, Delores (Dennis) Kennedy and Carla Thompson both of Kenova, W.V. and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Elisha Adkins whom she married December 18, 1954 and who died September 19, 2007; two brothers, Harley (Carol) Dingess and Charlie (Linda) Dingess and two sons in-law, Lee Siddle and Eric Napier.

Friends and family may call from 6pm to 8pm Thursday, May 25, 2023 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.

Funeral Services will be 1:00pm Friday, May 26, 2023 at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Cooper officiating.

Olive will be laid to rest next to her husband, Elisha in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
