FRAZEYSBURG ? Funeral services for Norma J. Walpole Newell, 61, Zanesville, Ohio will be at 3:00pm Saturday at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Belt officiating. Mrs. Newell died Thursday morning, March 18, 2004 at Bethesda Hospital, Zanesville. Born September 2, 1942 in Frazeysburg, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Ruth Walpole Osborn and was a graduate of Frazeysburg High School. Mrs. Newell was a homemaker and a member of the Perryton Church of Christ. Surviving is her husband, Ross R. Newell; two sons, Carl (Ruth) Fischer and Harold (Carrie) Wells, both of Newark; one brother, Ronald Walpole and one sister, Ola Davis, both of Dresden; five step children; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Lawrence, Samuel, William and Donald Walpole and one sister, Florence Osborn. Calling hours will be Saturday, March 20, 2004 from 1pm until service time at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home.
