FRAZEYSBURG ? Norma C. Isch, 66, of Frazeysburg, Ohio went to be with her Lord Saturday evening, November 29, 2008 after a courageous struggle with cancer. Born June 14, 1942 in Celina, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Homer and Frances (Bixler) Moser. Mrs. Isch was a high school graduate and attended Fort Wayne Bible College, now called Taylor University, Fort Wayne Campus and Owosso College in Michigan. As a faithful, talented servant of Christ, Norma taught Sunday school, led youth groups, led women's ministry, was a musician, including having been a pianist, an organist, a keyboardist and an accordionist. She faithfully and devotedly served with her husband in rescue mission and church ministries, including the Community Bible Church of Frazeysburg. A devoted wife and mother, Norma is survived by her husband, the Rev. Louis Isch, whom she married April 8, 1967 at the Alliance Church, Syracuse, New York; a daughter and son-in-law, Charlene and Jason Sphon of Minerva, Ohio; and four granddaughters, Angela, Kimberly, Emily and Sarah. She is also survived by her brother, the Rev. Gene Moser, and his wife, Rexa, of Lima, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, the Rev. Judy Lewis. Calling hours are 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street. Funeral services will be 10:00am Thursday, December 4, 2008 at the funeral home with the Rev. Jeffrey Miller officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery, Minerva, Ohio.
