Nellie I. Parrill, 84, of Nashport, Ohio died Monday morning, November 26, 2018 at her home.
Born March 4, 1934 in Licking County, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Trube and Nancy J. (Davis) Flowers and was a homemaker. Nellie was a member of the Toboso United Methodist Church and was a former choir director and housekeeper at the church. She loved country living, doing gardening, sewing, baking, cooking and helping her late husband with the family farm. Her greatest love was her family.
Surviving are two daughters, Roxie (Tony) Kullman of Columbus, Ohio and Janie (Terry) Harding of Nashport; one grandson, Joshua (Tami) Harding; two great grandchildren, Baylee Sue Harding and Dane Jackson Harding and one great grandchild on the way. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of nearly 63 years, Albert Parrill, Jr., whom she married September 25, 1954 and who died September 8, 2017; four sisters, Bertha Flowers, Ruth Johnson, Margaret Sisson and Dolly Romine and four brothers, Charles, George and Arthur Flowers and Louis Davis.
Calling hours will be from 1pm to 3pm Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the Frazeysburg chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be 3:00pm Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor James Hall officiating. Burial will be in Hanover Cemetery at a later date.
