NEWARK ? Nathaniel A. ?Nathan? Boyer, 8, of 1100 Thornwood Drive, Heath, Ohio, died Wednesday afternoon, July 16, 2003 as the result of a drowning accident near his home. Born August 11, 1994 in Newark, he was the son of Greg and Syrena (Ashcraft) Gibson of Heath. Nathan attended Perryton Church of Christ and was to be a fourth grade student at Stevenson Elementary School in Heath. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his twin sister, Brianna R. Boyer and his sister Ryleigh Gibson, both of the home. Also surviving are his maternal grandparents, Don and Brenda Moats of St. Louisville, Ohio; paternal grandmother, Dolores Osborne of Beech Grove, Indiana; maternal great grandfather, Warren G. Ashcraft of Frazeysburg, Ohio; a special aunt and uncle, Linda and Ron Moran of Frazeysburg; uncles, Adam Ashcraft of Columbus, Ohio and Aaron Ashcraft of St. Louisville; great aunts and uncles, Perry and Lynn Ashcraft of Newark and Larry Ashcraft of Frazeysburg; and cousins Chad and Sabrina Moran of Newark and Doug and Angie Moran of Frazeysburg Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 9pm Saturday, July19, 2003 at Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 1850 West Main Street, Newark, Ohio. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Sunday, July 20, 2003 at the funeral home with Rev. Pat Matheny officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
