Nancy C. Moran, 79 of Frazeysburg died Sunday, April 17, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Born January 10, 1937 in Champaign County, Ohio to the late Donivan and Murrel (Snyder) Denman. She was a 1954 graduate of Union Local High School and retired from Licking Memorial Hospital in 2000.

She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Christian Church and LMH Retirees. A former Sunday school teacher and enjoyed helping people throughout her life. Her many talents included crocheting, canning and gardening. She loved all animals and a favorite pastime was watching the Wildlife Channel.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Marion R. Moran, whom she married July 2, 1955; children, Donivan "Ray" Moran of Fallsburg, Judy (Robert) Baker of Fallsburg, Amy Carol (Tom) Roberts of Newark; five grandchildren, Cory R. (Katie) Baker of Warsaw, Justin L. Peterman of Sunbury, Stephen M. (Paige) Baker of Newark, Hannah Peterman of Fallsburg, Phillip A. (Crystal) Peterman of Newark; thirteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Joy Denman; brothers, H. Orman Denman, H. Eugene Denman and Dale G. Denman.

Calling hours will be observed Wednesday, April 20, 2016 from 5 to 8pm at the Frazeysburg Chapel of VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOMES, 110 West Street. Additional calling house will be Thursday from 11am to 1 pm prior to the funeral services.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Linton and Sally Moran officiating. Burial will be in the Frazeysburg Cemetery.
